More for You !
A couple of these may have been posted before. I do that because it may be an ongoing contest, which I will usually tell you, or it's a site's desire to raise their fan base. I repost because some people may not read all of the posts. I'd be very happy if you passed this little blog on to your crafty friends, and ask them to join us via Google Friend Connect. I have stated in the past that once I get 25 people via Friend Connect, I will offer blog candy. I also have it on pretty good authority, that once my readership reaches 100, I will have an outside sponsor donate a prize. I can guarantee it will be a fun one !! Okay, so in keeping with my earlier post, I am going to post links, and you get to find the prize. There may or may not be more than 1 prize connected to a link. Please keep another couple things in mind...most giveaways and contests are one entry only. And for the most part, they are open to everyone--everywhere. If they aren't they will normally state that. If you want to pass something on to your friends, I suggest you send a message to a select group of people that you KNOW are crafty like us. Just make another list within FB, and you can send it just to those people. Here we go !!

Free tag download
I just got "The Scoop" email from Paperwishes. This usually features new products and a free project or two. It's a really great resource for me. This time they are featuring Time for Fun Papers and ribbons. ALSO - there is a free download of very cool tags that perfectly coordinate with this set, or you can print them out and use them on other projects. Another helpful thing is the suggested accesories, like the clock stamp set. I'm really hooked on clocks right now. Click HERE to get your free download. Print them out on white or cream cardstock, and you have a bunch of really nice tags. Sign up for their newsletter, and you can have ths come to your inbox !

Where I've been this time....
Sunday - drove in a day ahead of time to avoid bad weather. Hung out at the hotel.
Monday - dr appt, shopped (got the Sew Easy pad and the handle my store was saving for me, and some other miscellaneous deals. Best thing was I got 2 pkgs of Tim Holtz paper, one pink and one blue, at 50% off !)
Tuesday - another dr appt. Got some more core'dinations paper, and a $10 credit from my favorite store, so I snagged the Tim Holtz Tabs die - it's going to make cool mini albums.
Wednesday - eye appt and drove home
Thursday - 3 teeth pulled under Nitrous Oxide. God Bless the person who figured out how to use that for dental work. I'll never have dental work done without it.
And now it's Friday, and I think I will take another day of rest., although it looks like it's going to be 2 hours at a time again. I really want to play with my new goodies I got this week, but I don't know how that's going to turn out. Going back to bed again, will try to chat at/with you in the morning/afternoon.

A post or two or three
It's pretty early here, and I'm going back to my warm bed soon, but since I couldn't sleep, I decided to drop in another post. Still alot of work to do on the blog - most of it is slogging thru the Blogger help files and trying to understand how everything works. It's a real brain drain. So, here's what I have for you today, please leave a comment here or in the NEW chatbox (so I can see if it works!) If it's cold and snowy and the roads are bad where you are, please stay at home if you can, if you have to fo out - please be very careful.
Echo Park Paper Win it before you can buy it ! For the Record, a fun bright set, contest ends 02/07, FOUR winners ! It's supposed to hit stores the week of Feb 14.
HELMAR Tell them what your favorite Helmar moment from the show was by posting a comment on their FB page. Random winner will be selected! (let me just say, if you win an adhesive runner from them, it is MAGIC ! That stuff makes paper stick like crazy !)
For my Canadian friends, or other friends who want to go to Canada for this, it's almost time to register for ScrapFest Canada in Kitchener (somebody tell me where that is) ScrapFestCanada sounds like a scrappin' good time. If you go, how about a report when you get back ? This info came from Scrapbook and Cards Today, probably one of the best magazines around ! Yay Canada !
Imaginisce is having a February challenge, AND a blog hop ! Big prize for the challenge ( you have to submit a project) and for the hop (9 sites), which you have to finish by Feb 3, the prize is a cordless iBond glue gun ! They've got some cool inspiration for the challenge, and they're also going to be looking around for people who are using Imaginisce in their projects. Hop winners will be announced Feb 4.

Still Alive, a couple of links
We're having a good snowstorm here, around 6 inches at noon yesterday, now comes the wind and the drifting. I have the camera battery charged up, but I don't know if I'm going to get much good light tomorrow, but I finally have several cards to show you that we've been making in the CTMH card club I go to on Saturdays.
I'm also making two tri-shutter cards I am making for my sons. Christmas cards. Yeah, I know.... The tutorial for that is on Splitcoaststampers.com . It looks a little intimidating, but once you get going, it isn't so bad. I had some troubles cutting the design paper the way the tutorial said, so I looked at the gallery there, and got lots of good ideas.
I was supposed to be going to pick up my new Sew Easy stuff today, but the roads are awful, and even the plows aren't out. They had an accident between a plow and a tractor trailer yesterday, no one was hurt, but when it's like this, you just need to stay home if you can. The Sew Easy is by WeRMemoryKeepers > They are also the folks behind the Cropodile - in versions 1, 2, and now 3 ! They have great paper collections and embellies, so go take a look ! There's a link at the top of the page that tells you where you can buy them. There's even a special program if you are a retailer.
Paper Grace designs is having a birthday giveaway, with 4 ways for you to enter. She's giving away a great selection of Baker's Twine, which is one of the hottest things for embellishing your projects. Go visit Lisa, and leave her some love after you look at the site.
You have to be under a rock if you haven't seen or heard about CHA - Winter, being held in Los Angeles. (I think if it's winter, they should have snow). There have been several giveaways on the spur of the moment, so if you have been following them on Facebook, you may have seen them. There have been alot of new products revealed there, and most will start shipping in the next couple of months. Seriously, so much pretty paper, embellishments, Sizzix and Tim Holtz, I think we're going to need to save our pennies for this new stuff.
I'll get back to posting as usual in the next couple of days, so I hope you'll stick with me. Remember, when I get to 25 followers on Google Friend Connect, I will have my own little sack of blog candy ! So, please tell your friends about me and ask them to join too !
xoxoLiz
