Come On Crafters !!

Right now I can't afford blog candy, but I am really good at finding little contests and giveaways and some cool free stuff. You'll be missing out if you don't follow my blog ! I have two loyal followers, but I would sure like to see some comments and some more followers. I'm beginning to think all the hits on my site are from me ...LOL ! Now, if my battery will charge up tonight, I will do my best to take some pictures that might look like cards I have received from swaps, and even things I have made.

A New to Me Site

I've read the Cards magazine for years, mostly buying them from eBay, or old issues at a discount, so I was pleased to find the company website. Full of tutorials and stuff, lots of stuff, but most importantly, LOTS of giveaways. I've added the link on the right sidebar. Go there, you'll love it ! Origami. I was somewhat limited in the variety of things I could do, but it always put a smile on their face. I found this gorgeous heart Origami Heart on Extreme Cards and Papercrafting and thought I'd share it. I might even try it !

It's late and I started messing around with the bloggggg, and I really am not quite so literate with Blogger, so if I do something that makes it look or act funny, I'll fix it. I'm going to do my best to get some interesting pictures up on this thing before the weekend is over.

And another follower...thanks Mary for coming to see me. Went to a CTMH workshop last night and had a blast ! Workshop is once a month and we have coffee and cards on Saturday mornings. Love the friends I'm making.

Yesterday was cold, gray, and windy, windy, windy ! Woke up this morning to the first snow of the season. It won't last, but it is trying very hard to be winter today !

Got one swap to finish and several more to start, pllus personal cards to get done. Would love to get some Halloweenie cards out to family....I suppose if Christmas cards can be late, it's okay to be tardy for Oct 31. And my brother's card will be late, his birthday is tomorrow, but he didn't send me a card, so I don't feel bad.

Time for more coffee and a peek at the paper.
