Yes, I won this ! - and more on the hiatus - and other stuff

I seriously jumped for joy when I read the news on April 1st - and it was no joke ! I can hardly wait to see this in my mailbox and then straight to my craft table from there ! And how did I win it ? I followed the Imaginisce Blog, I followed their FB page, and I signed up for their newsletter. How stinkin easy is that ?

When I get home tomorrow, I am going to show you a list of prizes I have won sice I started my blog last year.

More on the hiatus - I'm going to spend the month of April seriously sprucing up the place, fixing pages, lists, blinkies - it's a pretty big list. Once I get it done, it will be easier to maintain instead of trying to get posts done nicely, and trying to renovate at the same time.

My doctor's appointments went well today - a special SynVisc shot in my right knee, and a steroid shot in my right hip. Makes it much easier to walk and sleep. Chiropractor did magic with ultrasound on my neck, shoulders, and lower back. A few pops later, I walked out feeling better.

Went to Michael's on Monday and picked up a bunch of goodies, and after watching the Helmar UStream video tonight, I'm going to have to make a trip back before I go home tomorrow ! Good sales - make sure you check the ad online. Stopped over to Joanns, and got myself a bunch of $1 Inkadinkadoo stamps, a flower frog to hold my cards so I can finally take pictures. Also picked up a wide tipped Zig glue pen - the kind that comes out blue and sticks permanent, but if you let it dry, it's repositionable. (50% off coupon) Watch your mail for the Joann coupons. They also usually give you new coupons when you check out, and most stores have the current ad out in front of the store.

I also need to stop out to Hobby Lobby, even though their coupon is not for what I want. They have the best Tim Holtz selection in town, and I heard today that they have Helmar Adhesive Glue in the craft section, Here's a pic of all their adhesives they have on the market :
There are a number of stores online and offline that sell Helmar adhesives. If your favorite store doesn't sell Helmar, give their name and number to Tracy at info@helmarusa.com, and she'll take it from there and try to get these great products on store shelves. A really good online store that sells Helmar at excellent prices is Scraptastic . On the Helmar website they have a huge list of other preferred online retailers - so check those out too.

And last, but certainly not least, my friend Jess at KinderstampO has come out with her own line of great stamps - you MUST go check them out ! And not only are they amazing, unique and beautiful - she has FREE shipping !!

I am WAY past my bedtime, and alot closer to the hotel wakeup call than I'd like to be, so I am going to let you go for now. Have fun with these posts, maybe buy a few things, and get crafting !

HURRY IF YOU HAVE A HOBBY LOBBY NEARBY !! And Other good sales...

I was in mine today, and they had 50% of ALL clear and wood handled stamps. That includes the Tim Holtz stamps, which are normally $14.99. They also have all paper packs at 50% off, which includes Tim's fabulous scrap pads which are $14.99, and come in 3 different colors. They are marvelous. I scooped up 2 stamp sets and 1 scrap pad.

My Tuesday Morning has the Zutter Bind It All for $49.99 - it's a starter kit, and they also had Owires and wire snips for $2.99 which are normally $5.99. Not every store has the same thing, so it's kind of hit and miss on what you find, but I always stop by mine when I am in town, I've been able to pick up alot of things just by luck alone.

Joann's has it's continual sale on DCWV stacks, it seems like they're always 40% or more off. They also have Cricut carts for $39.99, and I used my 40% off coupon for a $14.99 magazine that was filled with sentiments for the inside of cards. Can't remember the name right now, will post it when I look at it again.
